Thursday’s Praise Unlimited Weddings 2012 Bridal Expo was a hit! It was a great opportunity for brides-to-be to either “get their feet wet” with wedding planning ideas or “jump head first” and plan everything at once. There were vendors available to hire for photos, cakes, tuxedos, bridesmaids dresses, bridal gowns, alterations, decorations, entertainment… the list could go on!
Every bride or bride-to-be knows how stressful and overwhelming wedding planning can be, so Nita Hozey of Praise Unlimited Weddings has coordinated this Bridal Expo for years and this was the best one yet! Depending on the bride’s ideas, this literally could have been a “one stop shop” for a wedding.

Weddings don’t have to be extravagantly expensive to be filled with joy and fun. “Allocating your money to the places that you care the most about can be really helpful,” says author Meg Keene.
Couples planning their weddings are forced to make scores of difficult decisions — matching the guest list to the budget, and juggling their own values and the expectations of family and friends. Wedding-planning books and blogs can add more pressure than guidance — they make newly engaged couples feel like their weddings must be showstoppers, never mind the bad economy.
Even the hardiest of partners can feel a little lost. Author Meg Keene certainly did when she started to plan her wedding. “I came home two weeks into wedding planning in tears,” she tells NPR’s Jennifer Ludden. “I researched budget options, and the first thing I came across was the $ 2,000 ‘budget’ invitation package.”
